The Beginning - live LIVE to Fresh Paint Photography

Originally in 2011, started live LIVE to feature artists on a free website for them to showcase their art and help them gain exposure to new audiences they wouldn't otherwise have. Went to art events and shows, met with artists and in certain ways this plan was falling right in place. However, it was difficult to keep up with artists and get them to send new work. I also didn't create the exposure needed for artists to be motivated to want to be on my site. Catch 22. Needed to build exposure, but couldn't generate enough interest without the artists featuring current work. At this time, I was not a photographer. Took pictures yes, but it was not my focus. I Just couldn't this dream die and with my tag line, Forever Never Quit, couldn't bring myself to shutter this site and dream. But wasn't making things happen either.

I do believe that everything happens for a reason. However, this only works naturally through your path in life, as long as you actively pursue this path.

Recently in 2017, started pursuing photography with drive to make it more than a hobby. I got more daring, more careless and more adventurous. Always will and always had an immediate attraction to graffiti and street art. Just couldn't help it. As I have said to many, a lot of photographers take pictures of skylines, landscapes, animals, people, etc. I always took pictures of graffiti. This brings us to current day. Through photographing graffiti with a photographic style, started to gain real traction and meet serious artists and graffiti writers. Immersing myself into this world without even knowing it. Started posting my version of graffiti pics on Instagram under FreshPaint.Photography and people started to take notice. Besides loving the art of it, came to find that I knew nothing about this world. I knew the backstory, through Hip Hop culture, but nothing else. Through photography have met some of the most talented, coolest, down to earth people you can find from all walks of life. These people have taught me what I know today. So now I am less of an outsider looking in and more of an artist within working to gain respect and meet new people. That's it, this is where I stand today and it all happened naturally and as I believe for a reason.

live LIVE is now back to life through Fresh Paint Photography
