THE FINAL WORD FROM FPM

FPM or FRESHPAINT MAGAZINE has come to a final stopping point as of Feb 26, 2022. After being hacked by some stupid wannabe bitcoin fuck on IG, it’s hard to get motivated to build that account back up. I don’t have the time to go out and take flicks constantly like I once did. The style of content people want to engage with on IG has changed. When I first came on the scene, some people liked it, some people thought I came out of nowhere, and some people were sketched out not knowing what to think. That curiosity is what really sparked the growth. That curiosity is no longer here. Also, about the magazine, I want to set the record straight. I know I only came out with 3 issues, technically 4, but 1 didn’t have interviews. But each issue took at least 2 months of straight nonstop work. All night, every night, weekends, slacking off at work, all to compile that magazine and that time sacrifice is something I straight up do not have. Lastly those magazines cost me $2000 minimum to print. When I sold them I broke even, never made a dime. This was just something I wanted to do. And I got to say, pretty underwhelmed by the sales after the first one. Some people were super hyped on each issue and some people quit showing support, which is fine, do whatever you want to do. But that doesn’t make me want to keep busting ass to make something that I can tell not enough people want. AND some people thought I was getting rich or some stupid ass shit like that, which is annoying as fuck and fucking ridiculous. So with that this shit and circumstances, it’s time to do something different. Still going to post up y’alls graff when I come across it but just going to be under a different name and it’s not going to be the only focus. A new chapter of me in the graff scene is underway.
