Graffiti Production Walls

Graffiti crews paint legal walls around the city at the request of the owner. Usually coordinating a theme and colors. Dallas graffiti and street art shown through professional photography

PRODUCTION WALLS

AREA: NOT TO BE REVEALED

There's a wall in Dallas, TX that is an "open" wall to paint, but it isn't another Fabrication Yard where just anyone can paint it. I am probably the weakest writer to have painted this wall, but I appreciate being included. Originally I thought this wall was well known but after recent discussions with writers, this is a wall most people want to keep under wraps for the sole purpose of not turning this place into Fabrication Yard 2.0, which I respect.

I kick myself, because I was told RTD was painting this massive production on this wall, but granted I was told later in the day and I was already painting myself, some beers deep and was trying to wrap my shit up, but I should have dropped what I was doing and said fuck it and gone to this location and watched this wall go down. The RTD letters are massive, so massive and the pieces underneath are so dope. Definitely those pieces you look at and just wish you could do shit like that. Anyway RTD, Rebels Til Death are a big freight writer crew and had an opportunity to dominate this wall. Basically making this wall no longer open to anyone else, because you would be a straight dick to go over any of it and will most likely be instantly hated in the entire graff world of Dallas. That fucking van NEVER MOVES!

This day, Christmas Eve 2017, was so cold, well at least Dallas, TX cold at about 40 degrees with wind blowing and was overcast. But a good day overall and we knocked it out. It was dope to paint with Skilz for the first time also. The other part of 7080, Kone, Bocho, Facke and Slic are writers I paint with and hang with a lot and painting with them has helped my art grow. These pieces have been gone over, but can reminisce through these photos.

Ft. Worth cats, Cups. Serioh, Daniel, Labor and Heyt. Not 100% sure if Heyt painted this with these writers on the same day, but it's along the same wall. Big train writers getting down on a wall. As of recently these pieces are no longer here, but can view the photos here to preserve the memory.

The Infinity Crew in Dallas is one of those crews that have a long standing history in Dallas and have done impressive work around the city. Really look up to the different styles and talents of these writers. Goes, Texas and Ucron are pictured here.

Eder is one of the coolest dudes around who just appreciates all aspects of graffiti and hip hop culture. Tremendous respect for this writers. This piece is no longer here due to the massive Rebels Til Death production that is now in place but this flick will live on.

Nekor by The Insane Gringo pictured above and to the right has one of the crazies styles I have seen around the DFW area. The talent and style is insane. To the right is a production that was painted with another local artist I respect tremendously Bware. Something I always keep an open mind about is respecting everyone's different style. Art is subjective yes and everyone is entitled to their own opinions but it's important to admire the different techniques and flavors of the art of graffiti and writers who have perfected their craft.

As far as I know, Burn and Ease didn't paint this together but was on the same part of the wall splitting the hearse that splits this part of the wall. Burn really liked the black and white version of this photo where his piece pops in red.

Origin who I have seen in the streets and on production walls has styles for days and haven't seen a style repeated so far.

AREA: DEEP ELLUM

Deep Ellum, Dallas, TX has a lot of personality. It honestly used to be cooler and more grunge, but has sense been gentrified and some of the installments of nicer apartment complexes and fancier restaurants is something I don't personally agree with and is so typically Dallas. One aspect still remains about Deep Ellum is that there is still a presence and appreciation of art, which you can see through production walls and murals in this part of the city.

Vert from IC, Infinity Crew on a what appears to be an old run down gas station in Deep Ellum, Dallas, TX. Another Dallas legend with a piece that remains untouched.

Texas out of IC is one of my favorite writers in the city and has one of my favorite names.

A dope ass Skilz X Chubs production located in Deep Ellum, TX. I don't know Chubs yet but him and Skilz killed this piece adding to the vibrant nature of Deep Ellum.

Optek & Texas stay busy. They both are big artists in Dallas doing production walls in various areas. Love this production, located around the corner of the Skilz X Chubs production above.

When you think of Dallas graffiti, the very first crew that should come to mind is Half Dead. So many writers, different styles, unique names and dominating all aspects of graffiti. Streets, secret places, freights and production walls, this crew does it. This wall has the complete crew and is absolutely enormous and is right behind Deep Ellum Brewery. So go grab a beer at one of Dallas' best breweries and view the wall. I mean 33 pieces all together on a wall, that is insane.

AREA: SOUTH DALLAS

Another Half Dead Crew graffiti production wall, this time located in south Dallas at a smoke shop. When I was photographing this wall a crackhead basically tried to force her way into my car so I would give her a ride. That was fucking weird.

AREA: SOUTH EAST DALLAS

Not a free wall for just anyone and is right by Lee Harveys, mainly dominated by TV25 Crew
